TenSeven Security is now operating in Chicago.
After several years serving Tulsa and the broader Oklahoma market, we've opened our second office in Chicago to bring trained armed and unarmed security officers and off-duty police staffing to businesses across Cook County and the surrounding metro.
The Chicago office is open and accepting client inquiries today.
Chicago has a security problem most national firms don't solve well.
Big national providers staff posts with whoever's available. Local providers run lean and can't scale. Property managers, GCs, and downtown business owners get stuck choosing between a name brand that doesn't know the block and a small operator that can't cover the hours.
We're not the cheapest option in Chicago. We weren't the cheapest option in Tulsa either. What we do is hire officers with real backgrounds, most of ours come from law enforcement, and we run posts the way you'd run a duty shift. Clear post orders. Real chain of command. Reports written the same night, not the next week.
That's the same operating standard we're bringing to Chicago.
The Chicago office launches with a focused, intentional service mix:
Every officer assigned to a Chicago post carries valid Illinois PERC credentials, completes our internal training program, and operates under written post orders specific to your site.
What we are not offering right now: firewatch, camera-based remote video monitoring, or roving patrol. If your needs sit outside our service list, call us anyway, we'll tell you straight whether we can help or refer you to someone who can.
Illinois and the City of Chicago have stricter security licensing requirements than most states. Our team has spent months preparing for the move, not just signing a lease.
That means:
If you've been burned by a security vendor that didn't understand the difference between an Illinois PERC and an out-of-state guard card, we're a different conversation.
Our Chicago client base mirrors what we've built in Tulsa:
If your security situation isn't on that list, call us anyway. The conversation costs nothing and we'll tell you straight whether we can help.
The Tulsa office stays exactly where it is.
4870 S Lewis Ave, Suite 207. Same phone, same dispatch, same officers running the same posts. Our Oklahoma operations are run as a separate unit from Chicago, with their own leadership, scheduling, and field supervision.
Adding Chicago doesn't pull resources from Oklahoma. It does mean we're a stronger company, more depth, more cross-trained leadership, more capacity to support each office in the long run.
All Chicago inquiries currently route through our central office:
Tell us about your site, what you're trying to solve, and what hours you need covered. We'll set up a walk-through, build a written post order, and get you a proposal in writing.
The Chicago office is the first step in a measured expansion plan. We aren't trying to be everywhere at once. We're trying to do this job well in the cities where we operate, and Chicago is where the next round of growth made sense.
If you're a Chicago-area property manager, GC, or business owner who's tired of security vendors that show up late, hand you boilerplate reports, and disappear the moment something happens, we'd like the chance to be a different kind of call.
